A 4WD tour and Desert Glamping in deep Sahara Desert

Day 1: Merzouga – 4WD Desert Safari – Camel Trek – Desert Camp

In the morning or early afternoon, you will be picked up from your hotel in Merzouga. We begin our special 4WD desert safari to uncover the area’s hidden treasures. Our journey takes us first to Khamlia village, inhabited by the Gnawa people originally from Sub-Saharan Africa, to enjoy a live performance of their spiritual music.

We continue to the intriguing Mefis mines, followed by a visit to a nomadic family in their tent to share mint tea and learn about their way of life. Finally, we explore the lush Merzouga Oasis. In the late afternoon, we transfer you to the edge of the dunes to meet your camels. Here begins a serene one-hour camel trek into the heart of the Erg Chebbi dunes.

We will pause to allow you to capture unforgettable photos of the sunset over the golden sands. Upon arrival at our secluded desert camp, you will be welcomed with a warm beverage and shown to your comfortable tent. The evening continues with a traditional dinner under a sky full of stars, offering total disconnection and peace.

Day 2: Desert Camp – Sunrise – Return to Merzouga

Wake up early to witness the magical sunrise over the dunes—a sight not to be missed. After enjoying breakfast at the camp, you will mount your camel for the tranquil ride back across the sands to the village of Merzouga. Upon arrival, you will be transferred back to your hotel or riad, concluding your authentic Saharan adventure.
