2 DAYS TRIP FROM FES TO CHEFCHAOUEN

Day 1: Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen

After your fabulous breakfast in your Riad in Fes, our journey begins as we drive north towards the stunning Rif Mountains. The scenic route winds through the beautiful landscapes of this mountainous region, offering glimpses of rural life and panoramic views. We will arrive in the enchanting blue town of Chefchaouen in the afternoon.

Upon arrival, you will have free time to explore this iconic city at your own leisurely pace. Wander through its mesmerizing blue-washed alleyways, browse the local handicraft shops, and soak in the serene, artistic atmosphere of one of Morocco’s most picturesque destinations. Overnight in a charming Riad in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rif Mountains – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Following a tasty breakfast in your Riad, we bid farewell to the blue hues of Chefchaouen and begin our return journey towards Fes. Our route takes us once more through the scenic Rif Mountains, passing through villages like Ouazzan and other traditional settlements. Our first major stop is the ancient Roman city of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Here, you will have time to discover the remarkable ruins, including well-preserved mosaics and grand arches that whisper tales of the Roman Empire’s reach into North Africa. Afterwards, we continue to the imperial city of Meknes, another UNESCO site and the 17th-century capital under Sultan Moulay Ismail.

We will stop for lunch before exploring its impressive historical highlights, such as the monumental Bab Mansourgate, the granaries of Heri es-Souani, and the ornate Moulay Ismail Mausoleum. Later in the afternoon, we head back to Fes, where we will drop you off at your accommodation, marking the end of our services.
