6 Days Morocco Tour from Tangier

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Upon your arrival at the port or airport in Tangier, our driver will meet you with a warm welcome. We begin our journey to Chefchaouen immediately, traveling via Tetouan (depending on your arrival time) and crossing the scenic Rif Mountains.

You will check into your hotel upon arrival, with a free afternoon to wander and discover the beauty of the iconic blue-washed streets. Overnight in a Riad or Hotel.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Rif Mountains – Fes

After breakfast at your riad, we depart for the imperial city of Fes via Ouazzane and the Rif Mountains. We arrive in Fes for a half-day guided sightseeing tour.

Our visit includes the grand Royal Palace gate, the historic Jewish Quarter (Mellah) from the 16th century, the renowned Al Qaraouine University, the vibrant tanneries, the Attarine Museum, and the Moulay Idriss Mausoleum.

You will also visit a tile fabrication workshop and enjoy a panoramic view overlooking the entire Fes Medina. Overnight in your Riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

After checking out, we travel south towards the Sahara Desert. We pass through Ifrane, known as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” and into the Middle Atlas Mountains, known for wildlife.

We continue through Midelt, descend through the dramatic Ziz Gorges, and follow the lush Ziz Valley with its dense palm groves, passing through Erfoud, the capital of fossils and dates.

We arrive at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga, where you will mount camels for a trek to a desert camp. Spend the night under the stars in a traditional Berber tent.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

After breakfast, we begin our journey to the Dades Valley. We pass through the traditional market town of Rissani and see ancient *khettara* irrigation systems.

Our route leads us to the stunning Todra Gorges, where you can walk between its towering cliffs. We then continue through the Todra Valley and several Berber villages before arriving at our accommodation in the Dades Valley for the night.

Day 5: Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We depart the Dades Valley and travel through the Rose Valley (in season) to Ouarzazate. We then visit the famous Ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. Afterwards, we cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260m), enjoying spectacular views and making several photo stops along the way. We arrive in Marrakech in the evening for an overnight stay in your Riad.

Day 6: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour & Departure

After breakfast at your hotel, we begin a guided sightseeing tour of Marrakech, the “Red City.” We will visit the most important cultural and historical sites, including the Saadian Tombs, the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the bustling city souks.

We will then join the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square, a vibrant spectacle of snake charmers, storytellers, and entertainers. You will have free time in the afternoon for further exploration or shopping. Following this, we will provide a timely transfer to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departing flight.
